Nick really never got a chance to be a factor in Wednesday night’s feature event at 141 in the WDLMA late model special.

He ran the high line around the track at the start of the feature, but a multiple car scuffle collected Nick and sent him head on into the frontstretch wall. Nick was able to drive the car back to the pit area, but the damage was too much to continue.

His father, Terry, went on to win the feature event.

It was all the Anvelink family in the WISSOTA late model feature at Shawano Speedway this past Saturday night. Father Terry grabbed the lead from Troy Springborn, and then fought off Nick to secure the win.

Nick repeated his finish from last week at Shawano Speedway, charging along the high line of the race track to bring home another 3rd place finish.

Nick started in the 12th position on the grid for the feature this past Saturday at Shawano Speedway. He was able to methodically make his way through the field of WISSOTA late models to come home with a solid 3rd place finish on the night.

Nick had a very good night at 141 Speedway’s WDLMA show this past Wednesday night. He took 2nd in his heat race, then went on to win the fast dash race.

He would start in 3rd for the A-main, and stuck to the bottom of the track with everyone else throughout the race. On a late race restart, he was able to get by Tim Buhler to take home 2nd place on the night.

Nick was the hard charging machine on Sunday at Seymour Speedway in their WDMLA special. He started in dead last, 20th position, and diced through the field of cars into the top 5

Lapped traffic would play a role, as Paul Parker held off Nick’s father Terry for the win. Nick followed the pair to a 3rd place finish on the night.

Nick made the charge through the field of WISSOTA late models on Saturday night at Shawano Speedway, but probably could have been aided by a caution flag in his attempt to run down the top 3. The feature would go green to checkers, with Nick coming home with a 4th place finish on the night.

Nick tried to make it back-to-back feature wins at Shawano this past Saturday night, as he made a chase late in the race to try and hunt down race leader Troy Springborn. Nick got up into the 2nd spot, but was unable to catch Springborn, settling for the runner-up spot on the night.

Nick was able to capture his first feature win of the 2010 season at Shawano this past Saturday night. He used the high groove to swoop past Troy Springborn and Craig Bartz to take the lead, then pulled away after a late restart to seal the victory.
