Nick Finishes 2nd at Red Clay Classic!

Nick had a much better weekend at the 35th annual Red Clay Classic at ABC Raceway in Ashland, WI. He battled his way through the field, cutting into the top 3 with just a few laps remaining. He was catching the leader at the end, but ran out of laps and took home the runner-up spot on the night.
Tough Luck @ Punky Manor

Nick headed up to Red Cedar Speedway for the Punky Manor Challenge of Champions, and didn’t end up with the best of luck in the feature event. He was turned around in turn 2, and father Terry was put into his front end. Both Anvelinks would resume the race, but Nick finished near the tail, in 22nd position.
Two Top 5′s on the Weekend

Nick was back at Shawano Speedway on Saturday night, and he picked up a heat race victory to go along with a 5th place finish in the feature.
On Sunday night, Nick ran the WDLMA show at Seymour Speedway. He took 3rd place in his heat race, and also took home 3rd place in the feature event. It seemed like Nick would be in the running at the start, but AJ Diemel took the lead away from Justin Ritchie and rocketed for the win.
